Yedi karde\u015fin sonuncusu olan Ilgaz&#8217;\u0131n do\u011fum tarihi kesin olarak belli de\u011fildi. N\u00fcfusa g\u00f6re 7 May\u0131s 1911 olan do\u011fum tarihi, annesinin s\u00f6ylemesiyle &#8220;derin kar&#8221;dad\u0131r. Bu da, Ilgaz&#8217;\u0131n demesiyle, 1910&#8217;un \u015eubat&#8217;\u0131na rastlamaktad\u0131r.Ortaokuldayken liseye devam edip \u00fcniversite okumak istemesine ve \u00f6\u011fretmenlerinin bu konuda onu desteklemesine ra\u011fmen babas\u0131n\u0131n vefat\u0131 nedeniyle Kastamonu Muallim Mektebi&#8217;ne (\u00f6\u011fretmen okulu) girdi. Mezun olduktan sonra Gerede ve Ak\u00e7akoca&#8217;da ilkokul \u00f6\u011fretmenli\u011fi yapt\u0131. Bolu&#8217;daki \u00f6\u011fretmenli\u011fi s\u0131ras\u0131nda ilk e\u015fi Nuriye Han\u0131m&#8217;la tan\u0131\u015f\u0131p evlendi (1931). 1932&#8217;de k\u0131z\u0131 G\u00f6n\u00fcl do\u011fdu. Daha sonra G\u00fcm\u00fc\u015fova&#8217;ya ba\u015f\u00f6\u011fretmen olarak atand\u0131. 1933 y\u0131l\u0131nda askere al\u0131nd\u0131ktan sonra ilk e\u015finden bo\u015fand\u0131. 1936&#8217;da Ankara Gazi E\u011fitim Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc Edebiyat b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcne girdi ve 1938&#8217;de mezun oldu. \u0130kinci e\u015fi Rikkat Han\u0131mla enstit\u00fcde tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131 ve 1939&#8217;da evlendi. Bu evlilikten o\u011flu Ayd\u0131n ve k\u0131z\u0131 Y\u0131ld\u0131z do\u011fdu. Mezuniyetinden sonra Adapazar\u0131&#8217;na atanan Ilgaz, vereme yakaland\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00f6\u011fretmenlik yapamadan buradan ayr\u0131ld\u0131 ve \u0130stanbul Yakac\u0131k Sanatoryumuna yatt\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Kendi tayininden bir s\u00fcre sonra e\u015fi de \u0130stanbul&#8217;a atand\u0131. \u0130stanbul&#8217;dayken hem Karag\u00fcmr\u00fckOrtaokulu&#8217;nda T\u00fcrk\u00e7e \u00f6\u011fretmenli\u011fi yap\u0131yor hem de fak\u00fclte de felsefe okuyordu. II. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131&#8217;na denk gelen bu d\u00f6nemler daha sonra edebiyat\u0131nda da olduk\u00e7a etkili oldu. \u00d6rne\u011fin sava\u015f Karartma Geceleri roman\u0131n\u0131n arka plan\u0131nda yo\u011fun olarak hissedilmektedir. 1943 y\u0131l\u0131nda Karag\u00fcmr\u00fck Ortaokulunda bir \u00f6\u011fretmenle kavga etti\u011fi i\u00e7in Ni\u015fanta\u015f\u0131&#8217;na s\u00fcr\u00fcld\u00fc. Ayn\u0131 y\u0131l a\u011fabeyinin de bulundu\u011fu Tosya&#8217;da deprem olunca oraya gitti ve daha sonra izlenimlerini gazete de yazd\u0131. Ayr\u0131ca bir de bu deneyimi yans\u0131tan Tosya Zelzelesi \u015fiirini yazd\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>1944&#8217;\u00fcn Ocak ay\u0131nda yay\u0131nlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 S\u0131n\u0131f kitab\u0131yla adliyeler ve hapishaneyle tan\u0131\u015fm\u0131\u015f oldu. Bir s\u00fcre saklanan Ilgaz, 24 May\u0131s 1944&#8217;te Birinci \u015eubeye teslim oldu. 6 aya \u00e7arpt\u0131r\u0131lan yazar, hapishaneden \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131nda hem \u00f6\u011frencili\u011fini hem de \u00f6\u011fretmenli\u011fini kaybetmi\u015fti. Sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 da olduk\u00e7a bozulan Ilgaz, Heybeliada Sanatoryumuna yatt\u0131. 1946 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u00f6\u011fretmenli\u011fe k\u0131sa bir s\u00fcreli\u011fine d\u00f6nse de, sonunda 1947&#8217;de temelli olarak bu \u015fans\u0131 kaybetti. Bununla birlikte sanatoryuma yatabilme hakk\u0131n\u0131 da kaybetmi\u015f oluyordu. E\u015fi Rikkat Han\u0131m&#8217;dan 1949 y\u0131l\u0131nda ayr\u0131ld\u0131. Bu ayr\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 yazar \u015fu \u015fekilde a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131yordu<br \/>\u201c \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8230;Rikkat Han\u0131m&#8217;dan 1949 y\u0131l\u0131nda ayr\u0131ld\u0131m. Benim y\u00fcz\u00fcmden i\u015finden olmamas\u0131 ve \u00e7ocuklar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n zarar g\u00f6rmemesi i\u00e7in anla\u015farak ayr\u0131ld\u0131k. \u00d6\u011fretmenlikten \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131m, iki de bir kovu\u015fturmaya u\u011fruyordum. Ad\u0131m kom\u00fcniste \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131. \u0130zleniyordum. Yerim yurdum, ne olaca\u011f\u0131m belli de\u011fildi. \u00dcstelik, verem gibi bula\u015f\u0131c\u0131 bir hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131m vard\u0131. B\u00fct\u00fcn bunlar\u0131n e\u015fime de zarar verece\u011fini, bir g\u00fcn onun da i\u015finden at\u0131labilece\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyor, \u00e7ocuklar\u0131m i\u00e7in de kayg\u0131lan\u0131yordum. Ayr\u0131lmam\u0131z bundan oldu. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bu yan\u0131t bir bak\u0131ma d\u00f6nemin hayat \u015fartlar\u0131n\u0131n y\u0131prat\u0131c\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n da alt\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7izmektedir. Bu s\u00fcre\u00e7te hayat\u0131 dergi ve gazetecilik ile \u015fiir yazarak ge\u00e7iyordu. 1953 y\u0131l\u0131nda Devam kitab\u0131 da toplat\u0131ld\u0131 ve yazar hakk\u0131nda soru\u015fturma a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131. 27 May\u0131s&#8217;tan hemen \u00f6nce g\u00f6nderilmesi planlanan s\u00fcrg\u00fcnden 27 May\u0131s 1960 askeri m\u00fcdahelesiyle kurtuldu. 1966&#8217;da Ilgaz&#8217;\u0131n oyunla\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 Habam S\u0131n\u0131f\u0131 roman\u0131 Ulvi Uraz Tiyatro Toplulu\u011fu taraf\u0131ndan sahnelendi. Ayn\u0131 oyun 1969 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130stanbul Tiyatrosu&#8217;nda sahneye kondu. Ayn\u0131 y\u0131l \u00c7atal Matal oyunu da Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu&#8217;nda sahnelendi.<\/p>\n<p>1970 y\u0131l\u0131nda yazar Afet Han\u0131m&#8217;la evlendi ve 1971&#8217;de k\u0131zlar\u0131 Defne do\u011fdu. Ayn\u0131 y\u0131l Bas\u0131n \u015eeref Kart\u0131 ald\u0131. Bu y\u0131l ayr\u0131ca S\u0131n\u0131f Yay\u0131nlar\u0131&#8217;n\u0131 kuran yazar kendi kitaplar\u0131n\u0131 yay\u0131nlamaya ba\u015flad\u0131. \u0130lk denendi\u011finde sans\u00fcre tak\u0131lan Hababam S\u0131n\u0131f\u0131, Umar Bugay&#8217;\u0131n senaryosuyla sans\u00fcrden ge\u00e7ti ve Ertem E\u011filmez&#8217;in y\u00f6netmenli\u011finde \u00e7ekildi. Fakat yazar bu durumdan ho\u015fnut de\u011fildi, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc sans\u00fcrden ge\u00e7meyi ba\u015faran senaryo eserin b\u00fct\u00fcn toplumsal ele\u015ftirilerinden ar\u0131t\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve sadece e\u011flencelik bir komedi haline getirilmi\u015fti.<br \/>\u201c \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Onlar, Hababam S\u0131n\u0131f\u0131&#8217;n\u0131n \u00f6z\u00fcne sayg\u0131 g\u00f6sterilerek \u00e7evrilmi\u015f filmler de\u011fildi. \u0130\u00e7eri\u011fi bak\u0131m\u0131ndan, tezi bak\u0131m\u0131ndan ayk\u0131r\u0131. Zaten bir s\u00fcredir e\u015finden ayr\u0131 ya\u015famaktayd\u0131.12 Eyl\u00fcl (1980) d\u00f6neminde Cide&#8217;de bulunan R\u0131fat Ilgaz s\u00fcrekli tehdit ya da rahats\u0131z ediliyordu. \u00d6rne\u011fin, bir g\u00fcn oturdu\u011fu evin kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131ndaki binaya R\u0131fat Ilgaz evden at\u0131lmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 takdirde evin taranaca\u011f\u0131na dair not as\u0131l\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>28 May\u0131s 1981 gecesi R\u0131fat Ilgaz Y\u0131ld\u0131z Karayel roman\u0131n\u0131 yazmaktayken g\u00f6zalt\u0131na al\u0131nd\u0131. G\u00f6zleri ba\u011flanarak ve zincirlenerek merkeze kadar y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen yazar, Kastamonu, Et Bal\u0131k Kurumu mezbahas\u0131ndan bozma hapishaneye kondu. Doktor muayenesi isteyerek hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kan\u0131tlay\u0131nca jandarma taraf\u0131ndan Ball\u0131da\u011f Sanatoryumuna yat\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131. G\u00f6zalt\u0131na al\u0131nmas\u0131n\u0131n belirli bir nedeni zaten bulunmamaktayd\u0131 ve genel sorgudan sonra serbest b\u0131rak\u0131ld\u0131. O\u011flu Ayd\u0131n Ilgaz ile ya\u015famak \u00fczere \u0130stanbul&#8217;a d\u00f6nd\u00fc.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6ncelikli olarak \u015fiir ve \u00f6yk\u00fc olmak \u00fczere yazmaya devam etti. Ad\u0131na etkinlikler ve festivaller d\u00fczenlendi. Fikri Sa\u011flar&#8217;\u0131n K\u00fclt\u00fcr Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00f6neminde devlet taraf\u0131ndan bir \u00e7e\u015fit itibar iadesi olacak \u015fekilde K\u00fclt\u00fcr Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 plaketi verildi.<\/p>\n<p>2 Temmuz Sivas Mad\u0131mak Olay\u0131&#8217;nda ba\u015fta yak\u0131n dostu As\u0131m Bezirci olmak \u00fczere bir\u00e7ok ki\u015finin katledildi\u011fi haberine olduk\u00e7a \u00fcz\u00fclen Ilgaz, bundan 5 g\u00fcn sonra, 7 Temmuz 1993&#8217;te evinde vefat etti ve Zincirlikuyu Mezarl\u0131\u011f\u0131&#8217;na, As\u0131m Bezirci&#8217;nin yan\u0131na defnedildi.<\/p>\n<p>Edebiyat\u0131<\/p>\n<p>R\u0131fat Ilgaz, edebiyat hayat\u0131na 1926 y\u0131l\u0131nda Kastamonu Nazikter gazetesinde yay\u0131nlanan &#8220;Sevgilimin Mezar\u0131nda&#8221; \u015fiiriyle ba\u015flad\u0131. Bu \u015fiiri yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda hen\u00fcz on be\u015f ya\u015f\u0131nda olan \u015fair, o d\u00f6nemlerde Mehmet R\u0131fat imzas\u0131 ile yaz\u0131yordu. Hatta Kastamonu&#8217;dan ge\u00e7mekte olan Faruk Nafiz&#8217;in ilgisini \u00e7ekmeyi ba\u015fard\u0131. Bir s\u00fcre tarz olarak ki\u015fisel \u015fiirler yazsa da, ki bunlar Varl\u0131k, Olu\u015f gibi dergilerde yay\u0131nland\u0131, daha sonra hi\u00e7birini kitaplar\u0131na almad\u0131. Ona g\u00f6re bu \u015fiirler g\u00f6z\u00fc kapal\u0131 ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 y\u0131llar\u0131n ifadesiydi. Bir s\u00fcre \u015fiir tekni\u011fine yeni bir soluk getirdi\u011fine inand\u0131\u011f\u0131 Naz\u0131m Hikmet ile \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Onun Bursa Hapishanesinden g\u00f6nderdi\u011fi \u015fiirleri \u0130brahim Sabri mahlas\u0131yla yay\u0131nl\u0131yordu. Naz\u0131m da Ilgaz&#8217;dan umutla s\u00f6z ediyordu:<br \/>\u201c \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gen\u00e7lerin i\u00e7inde \u00e7ok be\u011fendi\u011fim \u015fairler var, hepsinin ismini akl\u0131mda tutam\u0131yorum, isimleri hen\u00fcz yer etmedi, ama \u015fiirlerini pek be\u011feniyorum. \u015e\u00f6yle akl\u0131mda kalanlar\u0131, s\u0131ra tefriki yapmadan sayay\u0131m: Dinamo, Suat Ta\u015fer, R\u0131fat Ilgaz, A. Kadir, Orhan Kemal, Saffet Irgat vesaire.. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ayr\u0131ca Naz\u0131m, ba\u015fka bir zamanda &#8220;kendi sesini bulmas\u0131&#8221; i\u00e7in Orhan Kemal&#8217;e Ilgaz&#8217;\u0131 \u00f6rnek g\u00f6stermi\u015ftir. R\u0131fat Ilgaz, II. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 d\u00f6neminde \u00f6\u011fretmenlik yaparken hayat\u0131nda ve \u00e7evresinde g\u00f6rd\u00fckleriyle toplumcu bir anlay\u0131\u015fa y\u00f6neldi. Halktan biri olmas\u0131 ve halk\u0131n \u00e7ektiklerini kendisinin de \u00e7ekiyor olmas\u0131 bunu ifade etme iste\u011fi ve ihtiyac\u0131 yaratt\u0131. Bu ama\u00e7la \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131\u011f\u0131 ilk \u015fiir kitab\u0131 Yarenlik&#8217;te (1943) \u00e7evresindeki insan hayat\u0131n\u0131 anlatt\u0131. O d\u00f6nemde sa\u011fl\u0131k nedeniyle okuldan izinli olan \u015fair bir s\u00fcre sakland\u0131ktan sonra teslim oldu ve 6 ay hapiste yatt\u0131. Sabahattin Ali, Aziz Nesin, \u00d6mer Faruk Toprak, Hasan \u0130zzettin Dinamo gibi yazarlar\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131 \u00e7ekti\u011fi bir ak\u0131md\u0131 bu.<\/p>\n<p>Bu d\u00f6nemde \u00f6zellikle Sabahattin Ali ve Aziz Nesin&#8217;le birlikte \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131klar\u0131 Markopa\u015fa, T\u00fcrk siyasi edebiyat tarihinde \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli bir yere sahiptir. Mizah yoluyla \u00fclkedeki gidi\u015fat\u0131 ele\u015ftiren yaz\u0131lara yer veren yay\u0131n k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede b\u00fcy\u00fck ilgi toplad\u0131 ve iyi bir sat\u0131\u015f seviyesine ula\u015ft\u0131. Kapat\u0131ld\u0131k\u00e7a H\u00fcr MarkoPa\u015fa, Yedi-Sekiz Pa\u015fa gibi ba\u015fka isimlerle tekrar \u00e7\u0131kan derginin benzer isimlerle sahteleri dahi t\u00fcredi. Bu d\u00f6nem T\u00fcrk yaz\u0131n\u0131nda dergicilik d\u00f6nemiydi ve benzer kadrolar s\u00fcrekli olarak farkl\u0131 dergilerde yaz\u0131yorlard\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>1956 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130lhan Sel\u00e7uk&#8217;un \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131\u011f\u0131 Dolmu\u015f dergisinde bir hik\u00e2ye serisi yay\u0131nlamaya ba\u015flad\u0131.
